How It Works
Walmart Connect’s platform evaluates the contextual relevance of ads and the historical performance of promoted items in real time to adjust bids. The advertiser's base bid serves as a starting point.
If the platform identifies a high likelihood of conversion from a click, it can increase the bid by up to 100%, enhancing the chances of the ad appearing competitively and boosting customer engagement.

Exciting Update:Â Brand Term Targeting is Now Available
Brand term targeting is now available for Sponsored Search automatic campaigns, marking a significant enhancement for advertisers. This feature simplifies the process of reaching a broader audience by removing the guesswork associated with selecting the right keywords. Advertisers can now effectively increase their share of voice in the marketplace.
With brand term targeting, advertisers can focus on specific brand-related keywords that are more likely to resonate with potential customers. This targeted approach not only improves the efficiency of ad spend but also enhances the likelihood of conversions by ensuring that ads are shown to users actively searching for related products (feature accessible through the Campaigns API and Snapshot API)
